If you are an Outlander fan, you recognise this doorway. I can see Claire sitting on those steps with Jenny waiting for Ian and Jamie to come home. Ian does come home, but Jamie doesn't setting off a whirlwind of events. This is the doorway of Midhope Castle. Midhope Castle is the fictional home of Jamie Fraser. I was fortunate to visit Midhope Castle, also known as Lallybroch, many years ago. I can't wait to go back, but because of the pandemic, I have to relive my dreamy vacation to Scotland through my photographs. Slainte Scotland!
