This impressive cable-stayed bridge officially opened to traffic in August 2017, serving as a replacement for the aging Forth Road Bridge. It is the longest three-tower cable-stayed bridge in the world, with a central span of 2.7 kilometers (1.7 miles). The Queensferry Crossing plays a pivotal role in alleviating traffic congestion, enhancing connectivity, and ensuring the safe passage of vehicles between these two populous regions of Scotland.
